Meet the Founder

Sarah Cronk

Sarah is a multimedia producer, performer and entrepreneur with a passion for elevating diverse female voices in the work she creates.

As a filmmaker, she is creator, executive producer and director of a new documentary, Cucina Attivista (working title) about female activist chefs across the United States. The documentary, which is currently in production, aims to highlight women from different backgrounds who are united in their goal to strengthen their community through food and social justice.

Over the course of her career, Sarah has produced an award-winning narrative short film, podcasts, audio-plays, dozens of theatrical productions – regionally and Off-Broadway – and digital content for several national brands.

Sarah’s journey into the arts began in childhood with classical piano training. Her love of music led her to continue studying voice and performance professionally in London and New York. As a performer, Sarah has appeared in regional Shakespearean theatre companies across the east coast, recorded voice-over for children’s podcasts and sung in multiple concerts at Jazz @ Lincoln Center.

When Sarah is not working, she enjoys traveling, cooking, hiking, skiing and paddle boarding. Sarah volunteers her time with United Way of Ulster County as a mentor for their Raising Hope female mentoring program and is a member of New York Women in Film & Television.
